I hated it because I KNEW I could close & satisfy large international companies with nearly unlimited budgets, and reasonable expectations.
Because I had done it for 8 years for my old bosses. Re-selling services from freelancers I hand picked that didn’t know how to sell their services for a better price.
I had goals, dreams and aspirations...I wanted more out of life...
Which is why I quit working for someone else, to do it on my own
...and being stuck in feast and famine cycles serving pain in the ass clients with tiny budgets, and unrealistic demands wasn't going to work.
So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.
I started looking for a way out.
I looked everywhere and a few months later I found it.
I went back to the drawing board after month 9 of making zero progress…
…to figure out objectively why nothing was working.
“Why couldn’t my agency get any traction or attention?”
The process took time, but eventually I realised I made two massive mistakes on day one…
That I bet you’re making right now.
